How to Play Anthem Early on Xbox One

Xbox One players only have one option to play Anthem early and that’s with EA Access. If you have an EA Access subscription, or sign up to the service, you’ll not only be able to play Anthem in a 10-hour trial starting tomorrow (Feb. 15), you’ll also get a bunch of other incentives.

This includes 10% discount on any games, DLC, season passes and so on for EA titles, as well as access to all other games in the Access Vault.

It’s worth noting, however, that if you want to play Anthem early on Xbox One, you’ll only be able to do so for the 10-hour trial specified above.

How to Play Early on PC

If you’re going to be playing Anthem on PC, you have a few options. Similar to Xbox One players, you can pick up Origin Access Basic for the same low price and gain access to Anthem’s 10-hour trial starting tomorrow (Feb. 15).

Alternatively, if 10 hours simply isn’t enough to tide you over between now and Anthem’s official release date on Feb. 22, you can get unlimited early access to Anthem with Origin Access Premier.

This service is essentially the same as the Basic service, but grants players access to all of EA’s PC titles for free, and grants early access to other games, too. It does cost a little more at $14.99 a month or $99.99 for a year, but you’ll have unlimited early access to Anthem.

Can You Play Anthem Early on PS4? What You Need to Know

For you PS4 owners out there, we’ve got some bad news. There’s no way you can play Anthem early on PS4. EA Access is a subscription service exclusive to Xbox One, and Origin Access is the same for PC.

Further, there was no pre-order bonus or special edition of Anthem that grants early access. You’ll just have to wait until Feb. 22 to dive into the flying exosuit action!
